More information about Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano DOC - La Braccesca

The powerful Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano from La Braccesca glides into the glass with a dense purple color. In the glass, this red wine from La Braccesca reveals aromas of lilies, mulberries, lilac, blueberries and lavender, complemented by other fruity nuances. On the palate, the Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano from La Braccesca opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. There is dry and really dry. This red wine belongs to the second group, as it was bottled with just 0.6 g of residual sugar. This melting and silky red wine is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano flatters the palate with a soft sensation without lacking freshness. On the finish, this youthful red wine from the Tuscan wine-growing region finally delights with its considerable length. Once again, there are hints of blackberry and blueberry.

Vinification of La Braccesca Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano

The basis for the powerful Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano from Tuscany are grapes from the Merlot and Sangiovese grape varieties. Once perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 4 months.

Dining recommendations for the Sabazio Rosso di Montepulciano from La Braccesca

This Italian red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is the perfect accompaniment to stuffed peppers, roast veal liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce or ossobuco.
