More information about Faustino I Gran Reserva - Bodegas Faustino
With the Bodegas Faustino Faustino I Gran Reserva comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. In this it shows a wonderfully bright ruby color. At the edges, this Spanish red also shows a transition into the brick-colored... After the first swirl, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This Spanish cuvée presents wonderfully expressive notes of morello cherry, blackberry, plum jam and black currant in the glass. These are joined by hints of vanilla, oriental spices and cocoa bean.
The Bodegas Faustino Faustino I Gran Reserva presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine premium and site wine segment. The final of this very ripening red wine from the wine-growing region of La Rioja, more precisely from the Rioja DOCa, finally convinces with extraordinary reverberation.
Vinification of the Bodegas Faustino Faustino I Gran Reserva
This balanced red wine from Spain is cuvetted from the grape varieties Mazuelo, Graciano and Tempranillo. Faustino I Gran Reserva is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Spaniard breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The fact that the Mazuelo, Graciano and Tempranillo grapes thrive under the influence of a warm climate also has a considerable influence on the development of the vintage. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly well ripened grapes and rather high alcohol content in the wine. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, Faustino I Gran Reserva is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
